Easing Traffic:
State Route 132 West

StanCOG

The State Route 132 West project realigns the existing State Route 132 from Maze Boulevard to a new northern route between Highway 99 and Gates Road. The first phase from SR-99 to North Dakota Avenue is already complete.

StanCOG is working to deliver the next two phases, SR 132 West Gates to Dakota and SR 132 West SR/99/SR 132 Interchange. These phases will extend the highway to Gates/Paradise Road with key interchange improvements, overcrossings, and a roundabout, ensuring smoother and safer travel for residents and businesses alike.

For more information, visit the SR 132 West website.

Safe Crossings for Students:
Raised Crosswalks at Crossroads Elementary

City of Riverbank

New raised crosswalks around Crossroads Elementary School make students and families more visible to drivers and naturally encourage slower speeds, creating a safer environment for everyone. With this upgrade, we’re not only improving safety but also making it easier for kids to walk and explore their community confidently. This project is the latest in a series of projects improving walkability throughout the City of Riverbank.

New crosswalk at the intersection of Saxon Way and Prospectors Parkway in Riverbank improves pedestrian safety.

Set for Construction:
North County Corridor Project

Stanislaus County

The North County Corridor is an 18-mile realignment of State Route 108 around Modesto, Riverbank, and Oakdale. The new four-lane expressway and interchanges will improve traffic circulation, relieve congestion and reduce delays, support goods movement, and enhance safety.

Construction for Phase 1, between Oakdale Road and Claus Road, will break ground in Summer 2025 and is anticipated to open to traffic in 2027. Visit the North County Corridor website for more information.

The North County Corridor is led by Stanislaus County, in partnership with the cities of Modesto, Riverbank, and Oakdale, and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
